Salu-tions s.l. is a family business run by Christine & Keith Merton and work extensively on the Costa Blanca and Costa Calida.
Now with Mike & Val Allen who work and live on the Costa Daurada we can intensify this area from our early beginnings.
We also source properties on Costa Brava, Del Sol, De la Luz and soon (late 2007) in the Galicia region.

Chris and Keith have worked in Spain selling properties for 7 years and are in their eighth year of living in the country.

 When we arrived in 1999 we too went through the process of looking for a property to buy. Keith being a qualified Surveyor, Projects Manager and then Construction Director was able to help guide through the procedure but the process made us determined to offer a more professional and personal service to their clients once we had established our own business.

 “ We were lucky when we came to Spain, the sales consultant we were with, was well informed and we had a one to one service. We became good friends with him and his partner as well. However we still felt we could improve on the service and advice that we could offer to our clients when they come over from the UK.  

Explaining the procedure for buying a property from start to finish including ALL the costs involved, and the time scales also helps to make people aware of what they are entering into.

In 3 to 5 days our clients are expected to choose a property, sign a contract and arrange payment of some substantial sums of money to secure the agreements. This is generally something the UK client is unused to, especially paying substantial sums of money to secure property contracts.

Keith Merton
Qualified Quantity Surveyor working for contractors and chartered surveying companies .
One of the first professional surveyors in the Landscaping industry and soon became a manager of a design and build company working with Professor David Stevens winner of several Gold Medals at Chelsea Flower Show.
Altogether involved with Gold awards for interior and exterior garden construction.
Final employment in the UK as Managing Director of Eaton Gate working on high quality refurbishments in London for the well known and wealthy.....leaving Christine to maintain their Devon Farm during the week.
So for over thirty years in the construction business in one form or another before moving to Spain and being involved in helping clients again!

Christine Merton
Worked as Personnel and Recruitment officer for the Bank of England at their printing works for many years.
Juggling her upbringing of two sons with work at Corfiot Holidays and travelling to Corfu to oversee villa holidays,
a spell at Jones, Lang, Wootton Chartered Surveyors, before moving to Devon for a quieter life.
So then between running a small holding (Breeding rare breed chickens amongst other animals!), a license Bed & Breakfast and a self contained holiday let she was also a volunteer's co-ordinator at Barnstaple Hospice.
This was in addition to being President of the Woolsery's Women's Institute!
